How did it all start?
My name is Simone and my passion for juggling and object manipulation began 15 years ago.
Since then, I have been crafting my own fire props and costumes for my performances.
As a fire performer, teacher, and active member of the flow arts community and festivals, I have spent many years researching materials and experimenting with different types and designs of fire props.
My passion for building props has only grown,
fueled by the many requests from friends and fellow flow artists.
That's why I decided to create this online shop, to offer customized, handmade fire props to all those who seek them.
What values fuel this project?
The goal is to design and build high-quality fire props with care and intention. Being a fire artist means knowing how important it is to have gear that’s safe, reliable, and feels good to use.
Working hands-on, in small-scale production, and choosing to collaborate with skilled artisans instead of industries reflects a belief in supporting craft over mass production.

Who are the hands behind the craft?
Behind Vulcan Fire Shop, there are hands that work with care, friends and collaborators who put love into every piece.
Some craft specific parts of the fire gear, others focus on sewing and accessory-making. There are those who master the art of knots, and others who support the project through social media, communication, and web creation.
It’s a small team, working behind the scenes, each one essential to keeping this flame alive.

as a creative hobby.
